The Role of Civil Society Organizations in the AFG Diaspora
Moderator: Dr. Kefajat Hamidi
Civil organizations and processes of organizing or self-organization of groups, activities and networks, play vital roles in every society, particularly for diaspora groups. Through organizations, individual interests evolve to collective ones. The interlinkage between factors of self-organizations (language centers, cultural hubs, sports groups, mosques or business centers), can further influence the representation of the concerned groups into the broader social perspectives, either in local advocacy efforts or in national politics.
But what does organization and self-organization look like in the AFG diaspora? What activities and issues do they represent in Germany? How can they network better? We have invited organisations with different orientations. They talk about themselves, their organisations and their needs, especially in the East.
Guests: Dr. Asef Hossaini (Abad e.V.), Abdullah Atthaye (Bakhtar Institut), Edris Bahrami (FC Mohajer) and N.N.
