Digitalisierung

Python for Data science

Course instructor: Ehsan Mirzaei (Master of BI & knowledge management)

Data science is becoming an important topic as the amount of data explodes in various fields. There is an increasing need for data analysts to process and analyze this growing amount of available data. Programming languages such as Python provides powerful statistical tools for data analysis. Therefore, knowledge of the programming language is required for various tasks.

The course is designed for intermediate to advanced students, and a basic understanding of data and Python is a plus.

R for Geospatial analysis

Course instructor: Salim Soltani

Data science is becoming an important topic as the amount of data explodes in various fields. There is an increasing need for data analysts to process and analyze this growing amount of available data. A programming language such as R provides powerful statistical tools for data analysis. Therefore, knowledge of the programming language is required for various tasks.

This course is designed to provide a basic overview of the R environment and the packages required for data processing. This includes basic R functions for data processing as well as packages that deal with data processing such as tidyverse, data analysis (RStoolbox), and data visualization (ggplot).

The focus of the course is on spatial analysis. Since the fundamentals of programming and data are the same in all areas, registration is open to anyone from different fields
